The Jeff Youngers Music Foundation, Inc., was established to commemorate the life of Jeff Youngers, an avid music fan who tirelessly supported the efforts of local musicians during his lifetime. The Foundation provides aspiring musicians in Minneapolis, Chicago, and the State of Wisconsin with grants to cover the expenses inherent in pursuing their careers.
Grants
Grants will be provided to assist musicians with the production of a recording, the purchase of a new instrument, the payment of insurance on or repair costs associated with a vehicle, and any other expense that is incurred in the process of performing. Grant recipients will be selected by the Foundation's board of directors, and the number and size of the grants awarded will vary based on the availability of funds and the quality of applications submitted during a given year of performing.
